Little Comfort Farm - Self catering holiday cottages - North Devon

We offer the choice of five self-catering cottages. Four converted from original stone farm buildings and the fifth is an annexe to the farmhouse.

Each property has individual access and parking as well as its own garden and terrace. There are laundry facilities on site, shared freezer, a pay phone and a playroom for younger visitors.


The little River Caen flows through the farm, feeding a long established lake well stocked with coarse fish. Extending to one acre, the lake offers high quality fishing and visitors are welcome to try their skill here.

The lake is open from Dawn until Dusk and features the following fish:

Big Carp
Orfe
Rudd
Roach
Bream

All Day: £5 Half Day: £4 Evening: £3 (W.C. Available)


A short woodland walk leads to a natural meadow-land play haven where there is a picnic table, sand pit and swing, surrounded by wild flowers in a natural garden beside a tinkling stream; a tranquil and safe area for supervised children. . Beyond the lake, the river runs through a beautiful wooded valley - acres of countryside with abundant bird, plant and wildlife, which offers splendid walks and plenty of space in which to relax.

Five spacious cottages with secluded gardens,
wood fires for cosy winter breaks.
Organic home made cream tea on arrival. Open all year.
