Orchard Keepers Cottage is a 4 star self-catering cottage perfect for two. Positioned off the beaten track on West Lake organic orchard famous for its award winning West Lake apple juices.

Enjoy panoramic views over the tranquil countryside in the heart of Ruby Country. For those who want to retreat with birdsong the only noise.

The cottage has a spacious open plan design with kitchen, dining and lounge area as ground floor. Modern wet room with underfloor heating throughout. The oak staircase leads to the large mezzanine with Kingsize bed for ultimate comfort and pure cotton linen. High roof beams and open rafters give this area the 'wow' factor. A large patio window then opens onto a spacious balcony offering 180 degree views over
Devon 's unspoilt landscape where you can sit, dine or watch the night sky.

We have 13 acres for you to explore and two large ponds with sitting areas. Wildflowers are in abundance. We have been awarded the 'Gold Award' from the Devon Wildlife Trust for demonstrating that the farm is working for the benefit of Devon 's wildlife. Our culm grasslands are part of a 'Potential County Wildlife Site' forming an area of significant wildlife interest. This year we developed a Farm Wildlife trail with interpretation sheets to guide you through the varied habitats and help you enjoy your stay.

Ideally situated between the often brooding, misty Dartmoor to the south and the north Devon coast with its rugged cliffs, views of Lundy Island challenging South West coastal path. We are directly on the newly opended Ruby Way where you can walk, cycle or horse trek along some of the most unspoilt land in the southwest.
