Beech Cottage is situated at the end of a private drive on a working dairy farm. Part of our farmhouse, it is full of character and spacious, with inglenook fireplaces, beams, stripped wood and slate flagged floors. Each room is individual, decorated with coordinating wall coverings and fabrics, with many finishing touches. The house is surrounded by magnificent views of the beautiful Devon countryside, with the market town of Holsworthy in the distance.
Accommodation: Five bedrooms, three ensuite & bathroom, Kitchen, Dining Room and Lounge.
French doors lead into kitchen/breakfast room with range of fitted pine units, table and chairs, electric oven & hob, fridge freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Boot room for wellies and coats. The sitting room has matching settees and chairs, colour TV & video player, the original inglenook fireplace with bread oven, has a gas woodburner. The Dining room has a large inglenook fireplace with woodburner, dining/snooker table and chairs and two settees, colour TV.
The staircase leads to a lovely stencilled landing and bedroom one with four poster bed, with bathroom/WC next door. Bedroom two a family room ensuite shower room/WC, has double plus bunks. Bedroom three with bunks. Bedroom four with double bed, ensuite shower room/WC. Bedroom five with twin beds, has ensuite shower/tub, WC.
Linen is included, electricity is charged by meter reading. Storage heaters inclusive and gas for woodburner. First bag of logs free. We have plenty of space for parking. The gardens are private mainly lawned, patio area with garden furniture and barbecue.
